When Beth contacted me about taking photos of little M before her 4 month birthday I was so excited! When she told me they lived by Lake Casitas, I knew it would be such an exciting session. We got there a bit early with the sun higher than expected, but it gave little M a chance to to eat and relax, and by the time the sun had lowered, she was full of smiles and ready to go!! The setting was beautiful, the light was perfect, and they were the cutest little family ever! I couldn’t have asked for anything more! Mom not only brought a perfect quilt, but she also brought tons of adorable dresses, and she makes headbands to match! It was so hard to choose which photos to put up. but here are a few of my favorites! I still have SO many more to edit, I hope you guys like them!

Hi everyone!! It is great to be back in sunny CA! =) For the last few weeks we have been back east on vacation, visiting family and friends. We went to New York, Pennsylvania, and beautiful Connecticut. It was truly great to see everyone I love, I had missed my family so much! Maya and my little sister Gracie couldn’t enough of each other, but then couldn’t stand each other at the same time. They fought like sisters, I love the fact that they are only a few years apart. I really wish they lived closer =/. Pennsylvania was just beautiful! It is honestly a photographers dream! There was a corn field every mile or so, tons of old barns, run down buildings, awesome bridges, and this AMAZING little trail that my mom took us to! It was right by a little lake, and there was this path that winded through a canopy of trees…..it was truly magical! The girls ran and danced down the trail, looking like little pixies! While I know its biased because they are of my daughter and sister, this has been my favorite session to date! And while I had tons of her smiling, I had to include the one of Maya in the middle because I was directing her a bit, and she looked at me and said, “But WHAT are you talking about, mom?!”

I am so excited to have had the chance to take photos of baby J again!! It has been over a year, and he is SO grown up! (He is the baby in the basket on my flash site). We decided to have a day at the harbor, and it just happened to be pirate day! There were pirates and parrots and shows going on, it was so much fun! We walked around the docks, went in the arcade, and walked over to the beach. Baby J was smiley the entire time! We finished up the day with some ice cream before heading home. I had so much fun Melissa, and am so happy with got the chance to get together again for a shoot!

I am so excited to show my latest sneak peek from one of my favorite shoots to date! It is of  a sweet little 2 month old girl, and her 3 year old brother. We were lucky enough to take photos in their backyard, a beautiful orchard! Little T was just so sweet with his new baby sister, and loved the camera as much as it loved him. Little sis fell asleep about 30 minutes into the session, so I was lucky to get these shots of her sleeping in this basket. Overall I think it  was super successful, and cant wait to see them again soon!

Here is a sneek peek of a adorable little boy I finally took pics for last weekend!! We met up at their house first to take some photos around the house, then went to the park to take some more family shots! I could not believe how sweet and calm this little one was, he was full of smiles the entire time!! Here are a few of the ones I  have edited, plenty more to come! =)

I finally got a chance to meet up with my little brother and get some long overdue shots of my beautiful niece! It was a quick little mini session at the park after work, and we really only had 20 mins before the sun went down, but I am happy to get a few good shots in!
